Translating Frequencies: 639

Translating Frequencies: 639 is a meditative sound art event held within All Saints' Church in Calbourne on the Isle of Wight, taking place on Saturday July 5th.

This immersive installation explores the vibrational qualities of the 639 Hz frequency and incorporates field recordings from the church itself and local environment. It is an invitation to inner exploration through tactile sonic vibrations and site-specific presence.

 

For those not able to attend the physical event, this webpage offers a digitally accessible version. While this digital version does not incorporate the intended site-specificity and tactile elements, it can still be experienced from alternative locations in a sonically inquisitive form, inviting deep listening, stillness, reflection, and connection.
